So ...I bought a 30 day shred exercise DVD (to go with all my other exercise DVD's) I did 14 days and actually put on weight.......not happy!!!

I used my fitnesspal and typed in everything that passed my lips (NOOOOOO night shift .......just NOOOOO) I was under-eating apparently so I upped my food intake ....and yes you guessed it....I put weight on :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I am an idiot!

I am at my heaviest I have ever been (except when I was doing an impression of a double decker bus whilst pregnant) and its mostly on my tummy......I gave up smoking almost 2 years ago .....at the same time as having mirena fitted (TMI????:rotfl:) I hormonally dumped boyfriend at that time too lol so no exercise (IYSWIM) either!

So here I go.......with the great elite as witnesses.....I pledge to lose ........erm...........erm......at least one of my tyres???

I somehow missed this till tiger posted it!

    Evening all

Well scan went fine and I got my 'tattoo' (actually only a dot so a bit like Phoebe's from Friends :p:D).
Arrived really early as traffic was better than expected, went straight in and was heading home half an hour before my appt time :) Meant I could have a sneaky Ts trip to get DH Father's Day bits on the way home ;)
Got a list of all of my appts, start a week on Monday, so sooner than expected. Thankfully they have, as I requested, given me all afternoon appts :T So I can relax about childcare and just get on with the treatment.

DH busy tonight doing the cambelt on the little car so you've got me all evening :D

    Sneaky trip to T:cool:

Me thinks logie is feeling a tad brighter:)

Glad everything went well logie and you are feeling more relaxed now you know you have got appointments when you wanted them x
My future BIL went into hospital yesterday for minor surgery, nil by mouth , had to be there at 11 , still waiting at 5.30 and then to be told , sorry we are closing for the day :eek:

Oh, how frustrating! Has he had it done today instead?

oh crikey dont do that please.....that would put me to shame ...I fail miserably at keeping up to date on here............but lucky for me the lovely elite welcome us back anytime we can drop by :D

ashamed to say I think I might have missed a logie catch up?? would it be awful if I asked?

    The short version is...
The experts changed their minds on the scan results and decided the cancer may still be active :( I freaked out and the Elite supported me as ever :A Will need radiotherapy to try and blast the carp out of whats left. So start the next round of the fight a week on Monday :p

It's the 5:2 diet first mentioned by mimi and QoC (I think :o) - (very) basically for 2 days a week you only have 500 calories and eat what you want the other 5 days. FunkyFeet posted a very helpful post on it here

    an embarrassed FF here:o
    Thank you though:)
