Hi logie I hope you are feeling ok, I was sorry to hear what has happened with the different opinions. Sending you a big hug. I am looking forward to hearing about the big birthday party later on in the year.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

    Evening gang,
not sure what I have to read for this diet is there a book/web page??
Never ever been on a diet before so alien territory for me but was always a size eight and now four stone over.
Went to docs again tonight as seriously high blood pressure is being a bit resistant to drugs.....is 200/100 too much, lol?
I mentioned about still gaining weight and that today I had only eaten some grapefruit and a cup of tea and he said "grapefruit is too many calories"
He told me that all day he only has one piece of toast and two cups of tea, surely that can't be enough to survive on??
    Have I missed something??

Are you sure it's OK to have Grapefruit with your blood pressure tablets. Most of them say not to eat or drink grapefruit, mine certainly do and Pharmacy also warn me- sometimes printing it on the labels ?

Would love to join the fat club, but fear I would fail right from the start having just finished Individual and Group Therapy for an Eating Disorder and all that resulted in was putting on even more weight :(

Better out than in Logie :) it's good you've had time to think and get your head round things. It is a small thing compared to what you've already conquered and 3 weeks of manic is a massive PIA but in the great scheme of things.......

I had to take my Dad for RT when he was I'll. It was very quick and he never suffered ill effects from it except some numbness and tingling? our journey wasn't as long as yours but it was a long journey for a very short blast if treatment everyday. It is what it is and if it makes things better in the long run, it's worth it. Bless ya :A

 TS, so many different comments went through my head, most I could not post. Perhaps you should, as a couple, come up with a way that the radio isnt needed so much in the bedroom.
    ;)

It's never in the bedroom though DM. :rotfl:

Have I done one of my opening my mouth before I think posts again. :o

It's strange really, I used to take my Dad for radiotherapy there so it holds a lot of memories. It was very surreal sitting back in that waiting room again.
He had a brain tumour so wasn't allowed to drive once he began treatment and I took him 3 days a week for his 6 week course. So I'm already pretty familiar with the way things work there, where to go etc. At least thats one less stress I suppose.

And as you say, 3 weeks in the grand scheme of things is nothing. I'll still have mornings with the boys, evenings with DH and my weekends won't be affected at all.

Before I know it i'll be :j:j to you all that i've finished :)
♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥
