You are 100% correct- however some SAs are wise to this trick ;)
They possibly are, but I think it's highly unlikely. Especially if you have multiple Sainsburys, and are not going into them all every day doing it.

Any mums or dads with ideas about how to get DD on potty? She's terrified of the toilet but sometimes sits on the potty. I've tried encouragement, explaining that she'll be able to go to nursery if she can use the potty, even treats and money but she still insists on soiling herself :(

Just having a quick read and saw this...
I had the same trouble with my ds2. If it's wetting, you should avoid giving her fresh orange and blackcurrant cordial - these make it more difficult for children to control their bladder. If it's soiling, you should give her fresh apple juice to help her go easily. Then make the toilet/bathroom fun. Have colouring, small books, etc to look at with her. Another tip is to give her bubbles to blow as she's going. Children can't hold on to their poo while blowing! Also using a reward chart is good. You can buy some cheap stickers at Mr Ts and make a chart. Allow her to stick the sticker on herself, after every trip to the loo. If this doesn't help, I took my ds2 shopping, allowed him to chose something and bought it. I stuck a reward chart to the side of it, and when he had so many 'good' days (he used to soil himself daily) he could open the present.
Most of all, relax with her and she'll do it when she's ready!
    Good luck.

;) Done I had a quick whizz through some of the other photos and noticed another person getting MSE votes. Good luck, how do you find out how many votes each person has, and can we vote daily?

    Or for keeping place?
Or for the suggestion of a cheap fathers day present?
Or just for the sake of it?

All of the above are true :D

In fact I thanked it for reason a) lol!

Hi celebrate, it's nice to see that you are still with us. Don't worry about old age, I'm sure I've seen it somewhere recently that 50 is the new 30!:D
Anyway, today is my birthday and I have reached the grand old age of 45. Nowhere near as old as dotty, Artha and Nanny L, however probably a very similar age to most of the Elite.
Having read about 20,000 posts over the last few weeks, my impression is that most of us are in the age group 40 - 60.

Happy birthday to you! And I'm not an oldie like you lot! :rotfl:

Correct on all points - OK, OK to actually explain why I'm treading this path, because my sis did it and the SA would not give a refund until she handed over the brand match! This was a buy and return shortly after. Obviously best advice is to return to a.n.other store!

(To be fair, I was a grandad by proxy at 26 ) But I don't get to see any of them now as the EX was/is, well, an ex.
