Ooh something happened last night, and must tell you all about it.

We went out yesterday, not in my locality but me friends' home town and as I was getting into my friend Jemma's car, I jumped in the back and Me other friend suddenly walked across the road before getting in, and to the front of a large building (what she later told us was her local mosque) she picked something big up, I couldn't make out what it was, it was dark plus I was on the sauce so a bit not with-it, IYKWIM, anyway, me and Jems were like, what is she doing!!...she picked it up and threw it in the large bin directly on the side of this building... When she got in the car she told us what it was....it was a pigs head outside on the footsteps

Is me friend right, that placing a pigs head there means someone is trying to cause offence to people at that mosque?

If so, I'm wondering, should she have touched it, if it's malicious, or a hate crime... Oh nooo, whadda you peeps think, should she have called the police?

That is deeply offensive to Muslims. It should have been reported but I think she did the right thing binning it

Sorry to hear about your daughter's injury Tinyshoes.
This could take a long time to heal, but hopefully she'll heel quickly with being so young. I had a similar injury to my arm years ago but when the bone came through the skin it severed the artery in my arm and they had to replace it with a vein from my leg. I was is hospital for 3 weeks and in plaster for almost 16 weeks. I also needed 11 months of physio. Fortunately for me though it was my right arm i broke and I am left handed.
Hope you get some help sorted for her exams too. Hugs Caz x

Oh Auntycaz that is a lot more serious than DDs, we have had a trampolining friend do that. Luckily discharge notes say neurovascularly intact both pre and post op which we were very relieved about. Has good movement in her fingers and shoulder and is being very good at doing the exercises the phsyio has given her. Already an improvment in her fingers. :)

Yes FF a pigs head would quite likely cause offence at a mosque!! By all accounts alot of mosques have been targeted in this way after the weeks events. Grafitti attacks and the like

Just an idea but best thing dd was given was Shaun the magic dream sheep.
When you press foot it lights up and makes a noise. Dgd favourite noise was a heart beat and it goes off on its own after so long.
I must admit I found it very soothing too.
Shaun is a fairly new thing (I think) and several celebs swear by them.

She is not likely to have one and used from birth they do have an amazing effect on soothing baby.

We had one of these (well actually we had "euan/ewan the dream sheep" ;):p)

    It was a godsend

I think perhaps FF lives in a toy shop, in the magical sheep department.

It was very tight, turned out the girl in 2nd position might have *ahem* purchased some votes to put her into the lead, but then calmspirit and scamps had the genius idea of posting on 10 ways :) not only did they let it stay on there, they tweeted it too :D:D

This site went down and galas fb was almost at melting point! It was a hairy hour or so :rotfl:

Oh wish I had been about, few votes here that I hadn't used. :o
