I am so pleased for her. Sounds like it might have been a close call towards the end?

Well done to the Elite for helping their friend. :T:T:T

It was very tight, turned out the girl in 2nd position might have *ahem* purchased some votes to put her into the lead, but then calmspirit and scamps had the genius idea of posting on 10 ways :) not only did they let it stay on there, they tweeted it too :D:D

This site went down and galas fb was almost at melting point! It was a hairy hour or so :rotfl:

Trampolining!!! Overturned a back landing somersault and ended putting her arms out, right arm took full force of the rebound on the trampoline. Bone went through arm. :(

Luckily it has not affected use of any of her fingers and they say operation was a success. Hope no problems later on. She is very lucky she didn't break both of them.

I better add for anyone else reading this was not on a normal garden trampoline, a proper national competition type one.

Sorry to hear about your daughter's injury Tinyshoes.
This could take a long time to heal, but hopefully she'll heel quickly with being so young. I had a similar injury to my arm years ago but when the bone came through the skin it severed the artery in my arm and they had to replace it with a vein from my leg. I was is hospital for 3 weeks and in plaster for almost 16 weeks. I also needed 11 months of physio. Fortunately for me though it was my right arm i broke and I am left handed.
Hope you get some help sorted for her exams too. Hugs Caz x

It's either a sign of healing or infection. I'll find out soon enough

We were told yesterday if it itches a bit it is to be expected but if it itches so much that she can't stand it we need to take her back.

Ooh something happened last night, and must tell you all about it.

We went out yesterday, not in my locality but me friends' home town and as I was getting into my friend Jemma's car, I jumped in the back and Me other friend suddenly walked across the road before getting in, and to the front of a large building (what she later told us was her local mosque) she picked something big up, I couldn't make out what it was, it was dark plus I was on the sauce so a bit not with-it, IYKWIM, anyway, me and Jems were like, what is she doing!!...she picked it up and threw it in the large bin directly on the side of this building... When she got in the car she told us what it was....it was a pigs head outside on the footsteps

Is me friend right, that placing a pigs head there means someone is trying to cause offence to people at that mosque?

If so, I'm wondering, should she have touched it, if it's malicious, or a hate crime... Oh nooo, whadda you peeps think, should she have called the police?

Quite right too. Also keep an eye on her fingers, if they get colder than the other hand, or change colour, take her back as the cast is likely to be too tight and will need sorting.

I had the opposite with mine. It was too loose and I could take it off. The look on the music teachers face when I did it was proper :eek::eek: for her but :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: for us
