Have you tried the Fast Diet? It's really easy. You just limit your calorie intake to 500 calories for women / 600 for men on two non-consecutive days a week. Loads of us doing it at work and we all seem to be losing a pound each day we do it - so two pounds a week. You can eat and drink what you like on the other 5 days of the week too, which means you don't feel like you're watching every single calorie every day!
I'm sure you can download it for free IYSWIM.
I'm reading the book- I downloaded it on amazon for a couple of quid
Today is *supposed* to be one of my 500 days but it hasn't happened so I'm going to finish reading the book and start for true from Friday
I'm desperately looking for inspiration for the fasting days so please shareI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. We don't know yet, we're guessing it must be from an insurance policy but I can't imagine it will be very much.
Anything's better than a kick up the bottom though
I hope it all goes smoothly for you Mildred, not the nicest way to hear of a windfall but hopefully enough to make life a bit easier for you.0 -
Very annoyed today. Had just managed to settle in my tomato plants that I got from Wilkos, they had looked a bit sad but were perking up nicely. I came home and nipped into the back garden, first thing I saw after getting beyond DGS's wendy house was my poor tomatos having been dug out of the grow bags!!! Fortunately they still had their roots on, they may well be OK, but still annoying. Must have been a fox or something, wasn't a cat because they don't dig that way, soil scattered everywhere :mad:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Hope everyone is OK today. Just back from a 2 hour stint at the gym with lots of interval running. Hopefully I will be back to my slim self. This "generous" look is not really me! Any tips other than not eating would be gratefully received.
Also, any computer whizzes around? I need a new laptop but I don't understand a thing about them. The one I currently have was an impulse purchase and is about to die a death. It's a Sony Vaio and it cost me about £500. I just thought it looked good and I bought it!
I have about £500 face value Tesco clubcard points though I don't think they are doing computers with the double up vouchers are they? I also have about £400 worth of Consumer Pulse vouchers which can be redeemed at Curry's, House Of Fraser/Debenhams/John Lewis (do they do laptops?) and various other places.
I'm looking for something cheap (happy to pay more) but something that will last me a while. Any help? Feel free to pm me. Cheers in advance.
If you do go with Tesco, there are till spits knocking about for £20 off £100 spend - I wombled two today. Not sure of validity because they are at work.0 -

It will be enough to attract the interest of that company.
They won't do that much work for the sake of a few grand, their commission wouldn't cover their expensesI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Thanks TS, it does feel a bit weird but he wasn't part of my adult life at all..the only time I saw him in the last 20 odd years was about 17 years ago after my DBro had been in ITU for a couple of weeks and he turned up out of the blue  He disappeared again 2 weeks later. Aren't some people strange.
Hope you're soon able to sort those forms out0 -
