Hi there. Back from A - I can confirm the multibuy on the Frijjs instore works across the varieties. It looked, earlier, like A was ending the multibuy on all but the chocolate tonight. But now - multis back on a.com on the Banana (as well as the Chocolate) and...:mad: MSM now showing Banana back with multis on! As well as the chocolate.
I thought buy max of 1 chocolate and any of the others that compare vs T (Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Strawberry, Banana, Limited Edition) as long as total bought is even number of Frijjs. Looks like I might end up with a half-glitch on the Frijjs - I bought 1 Chocolate, 1 Banana and 2 Strawberry!! I thought it was too good to be true!:( Just another anxious 3 hour wait again:rotfl::rotfl:. Bill was £16.03. So if I get back more than I pay, then I've exceeded the £15 trigger!
I also picked up the most expensive item in the 2 for £3 frozen offer - had to continue on to another store for this, as no Iceberg Lettuce bag in the first store, none of this expensive frozen new item one either. Unbelievably, the second store (a slightly smaller store) had it straight there. They also had loads of herbs& butter potatoes - but trying to confuse me as they had the wrong ones out in the normal place. Just two of the right ones found, elsewhere in the store, so picked up both!!:j (I'll be jumping around if the glitch suddenly stops:eek::rotfl:.) Didn't catch me on that one!:D
So, yes, the expensive item in the 2 for £3 - showing an equivalent for T at £3 on MSM, but that's not comparable as T's is outside of the 10% weight range. So it seems less risky - if the multibuy does get picked up (with the other item that is much cheaper in T and had multis off on MSM for a while last night), it should go £1.50 vs £1.00 and £1.50 vs N/A rather than £3.00. So I don't lose out much. If the multi doesn't get picked up, it will be £2.00 vs £1.00 and £3.00 vs N/A. So a little bit more.
But it's a "let's see what this gives back" shop.:rotfl:Always my curiosity - can't resist poking and prodding something to see what it does. Meddler - get your hands off Savvy!:D (But, I hasten to add, I have my limits.) If there's a frog near a pond though, why not try to stroke it and see what it does???!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I can be at times just a little bit like that. I might be looking for a double-glitch: i.e. £2.00vs £1.00 and £3.00vs £3.00 (comparing when it's actually outside weight or, even, as T's is larger, comparing to somewhat less than £3.00, but I've also offset the weight difference, effectively charging me more in A but not comparing, but the item adding as a trigger to a multibuy and what product I want to buy, what I like and find tasty).
I want either a double-glitch or a single glitch but only a certain type of single glitch. The single glitch I don't want is for multis to be picked up correctly (no glitch) but then to glitch and compare to the larger weighted T item at £1.50 vs £3.00 (or even £2.80 approx or whatever it would calculate it as).
I also did (separately) A vs S - you've all got me to pick up two packs of the Kitchen Rolls at £2 each, because I thought this was unlikely to happen again (S being £1) - now they'd better last at least 2.7272 recurring times as long as the 6pack Flairs!;)
Just need to ensure the fridge stuff is now sorted in date order so that it all gets used within its use-by dates. Not as easy as it sounds when you have other people's fingers at home occasionally reaching to the back of the fridge. I think I'd hide the long dated stuff well back and behind larger items to encourage them to use them up!:rotfl::)0 -
Back from As.
Picked up 4 strawberry and 2 fudge brownie so probably got it completely wrong
Paid most with wombles anyway and a normal APG shop would be 56p a bottle so not worried if I've stuffed it up (plus Hubbys happy and I found a womble)
Results in around 7 which is probably to late in the dayHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55
