    Favourite quote:

Sales of a big brand lager rose 10% after a prominent sign appeared above the packs in the aisle. The sign was picked up as evidence of a promotion. In fact the sign simply said: ‘Thieves will be prosecuted’.

This is so true. I've told a few times fellow shoppers putting a large pack of whatever in that 2 smaller packs would be cheaper, and often they seem shocked as how could a smaller pack be cheaper, or for bogof "is it get another one free then" or they only need one (give or store the other away then!) most are grateful but the odd one ignores your advice. Suprised that 45% bought only 1 of product on bogof though
