If my 14yr old wants something expensive I usually tell him he has to save and pay for most/all of it (chores/pocket money).

I definitely wouldn't pay £100 for headphones though.

Thats the thing, he wants to pay for it with his birthday money, but I cant justify him spending that amount on a pair of headphones, when I know in 6 months time, he will say they are carp and wants some different ones.

Big deal:( - my Cusson's Mum and Me product (some baby balm as the right shampoo was out of stock) cost me minus 15p - it was £3.49 in Sains. & 85p in A. Bought on a Svs A BM shop, used £1 off coupon. So, wow!, paying 24p or 2p for something???:eek:

    Rather rude SB. :naughty:

EMMAP your input is helpful, thank you. :)
    Hope is not a strategy.

Do we think that 9 chocs would still compare against £2.40?

    2 costs the same as 3 (£1.20)
    5 costs the same as 6 (£2.40)
    8 costs the same as 9 (£3.60)
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen

Me rude and fairclaire bossy now! Speaking my mind perhaps... noticed my post though got more thanks than some around it, so must have said something right:). None of it was to suggest that EMMAP's input wasn't helpful - on the contrary, usefully told us of some Mum and Me products at Boots. Thanks EMMAP!:)

Right, back later folks. (Tonight sometime with any luck.):):)
