As I said last night, little change in M from Monday. A total of two items that have seen increases in price (I suppose I have to justify my existence in some way:D) and a couple that appear no longer in stock and to have changed, in one case, to a different flavour (and a 1p price increase - of course you know this hasn't been counted in my number of "two" items that have increased in price, as it is a different item:p:D) and, the second case, to a different pack size (this may well affect us somewhat).

SP Milk Chocolate Digestives (300g) are to be taken off my list - M equivalent has increased to 49p. Nivea Rich Nourishing Moisturiser (400ml) has seen a £1 increase in price in M.

The others - Nestle Fab Apple & Blackcurrant Lollies (8) - previously Tvs M, now appear not to be available, instead it's now Nestle Fab Strawberry 8, £1.25 in Morries (but T might well be price-matched, or even 1p cheaper, on that already).

Cathedral City Extra Mature Cheddar (350g) appears no longer to be stocked:(, instead M now have (they may have had it before but the appearance of the 350g cheese may, rightly, have distracted me from it) Cathedral City Mature 550g, at £3.24:eek: until 7/7.

Those are the updates to be made but, although nothing else is being removed from the M lists, there are a few new offers to be added. I think my Avs M post is now nearly at its 25,000 chars. - so time, later on, to move a section of it back onto the top of the Tvs M post:( as overspill. Don't go rushing out to buy Avs M (or Tvs M) until you've seen what the additions are!

Coming up soon..probably a more significant post regarding M than this one.

In M I found an M can opener, priced at £1 on the card attached to it, but scanned through at 48p.

(I suspect I'll be told this isn't as good value as I think it is, if either someone has other M stores near to them with a big flash offer label of 48p on the shelves, or if someone knows of any M Savers can openers at less than 48p. But seemed a good price to me as someone used to paying £1 for a can opener in A before and, this being a non-grocery item, not included in the APG.)

It's called M "first home can opener", B/C is 5 010251 399117. SS checkout wanted to me to take the "last item", as the can opener was, out of my bag and wanted to call the supervisor over, I removed it from my bag - it had scanned through though, appeared on the screen and was counted in the bill - maybe the machines have its weight as zero grammes for some unknown reason - so I simply carried it in my hand (which stopped any 'wait for assistance' message), whilst I put the remaining shopping through. If computer screen offers 48p for an item priced on shelf at £1, I'm not one to argue with that! Deal done, money paid, accepted.

evening gang, no time to stop but Asda 36 wash capsules orange blossom and papaya were down to £3 in my store, makes it under the 10p cap............must dash, dont put them through with chocs just in case:)
