Just been reading on the Nook thread that people have been having problems since Saturday and not been able to register them. :(

Not even opened the one I got yet, was a present for DD1 when she moves out in couple of weeks. Trouble is OH has already mentioned we have a surprise for her, now one that might not work.

Any of the Elite had problems yet? I can't make head or tail if it is just ones bought more recently or all Nooks that need to be registered that have been affected since Saturday.

My son and i registered our Nooks on Sunday no problems. I have bought one for my daughter who is 18 on Thursday so was going to let her register it then!

i know how you feel, brought one at start of the offer few weeks ago for oh`s bday in 3 weeks but from what i`m reading its a server problem and no one seems to be able to register them by wifi.only way seems to be gettin in touch with b&n who seem quite unhelpful.really hope they get this sorted quickly but not lookin good at mo.

Think I will leave it unopened for the moment, I still have until 22nd for them to put things right. It would not be the same to hand over something opened or even worse unusable. :(

I bet lots of people are unaware and have them put away for presents.

Oh maybe it is a certain batch that can't be registered then, do you mind me asking where and when you bought yours please.

I got mine from Sainsburys about week after they were first posted. It does seem like John Lewis are being mentioned and something to do with being US and not UK ones. Unsure what to do for the best now.

    Afternoon all.
Hope the sun is shining where you are as it's glorious here :)
Had my missing cashback for clicksnap confirmed this morning, crikey they don't half like to drag their heels.

It was DS Girlfriends family home that was broken in to (not student accomadation).
I assume they haven't caught the scumbag(s) and it wasn't just electricals taken but jewelry too  DS Girlfriend was in a right state as she'd left a window slightly open but they forced entry through the back door
Poor lass (she's only 14) didn't want to get off the phone to my DS last night, I think they finally stopped chatting about 11. She was too scared to go sleep incase they came back.

So sorry to hear this dipdap I know how you feel as DS's student house has been burgled twice. It's a hard lesson for young people:o

In a way I'm glad it wasn't our house but am heartbroken for the family for all the stuff that's gone. ipads and xboxes can be replaced but having your private space ransacked and irrelaceable stuff taken is heart breaking :(
I think thieves should have their hands cut off

    I'm back :D

Thank you to those of you who posted good lucks :A

I completed most of the exam. My calculator decided it didn't want to play so I left the mathsy questions but hopefully I've done enough on the rest of it. We shall see

As today is the first time I've driven for 3 weeks, I headed to the nearest Tesco. Everything I picked up that I'd seen on here as being 1p came up with contact a member of staff

There was a dtd opportunity for energiser aaa batteries but I've still not worked up the courage to do it :o For anyone who does have the balls, look on clipstrips for them, ood SEL £4.30 but one get one free. All the others I saw were normal price

On Sunday night I ordered some beef tomato plants, chilli plants ad cucumber plants. They arrived this morning so I'm going to get those potted up this afternoon :)

Poor girl it must be an awful feeling to have your things rifled through. I hope it is something I never have to experience. :(

I hope nothing too sentimental was taken. xx
