    Morning all:A

I have been here, just lurking nowadays.:D

Your DD2 will love Lincoln Uni. My DD has just finished her 3 year degree and would love to settle there. If you want any info about accommodation etc, just ask.

Heh JS! Great to see you posting :D

DD2 is looking at a few but I have heard lots of lovely things about Lincoln. Did your DD stay in halls first year? Then move into a house? I'm wondering what the rough costs are and also what the employment opportunities are like for a part time job?!

My friend's son has gone to GLasgow to study and they didn't even have a job in McD's for him! (he'd been working in McD's through his A-Levels).
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

It's awkward taking pics of myself especially with the sun shining on everything and me being half blind as well. Mind you I can see what I want to see ;).

I went to W H Smiths yesterday to see how much their Father s day cards were as with 02 priority moments you get a box of Thorntons toffee free with every card purchased. You know how they have their prices on a card eg ee, ef well I d forgotten my glasses so I had to ask an assistant to point me in the direction of the cheapest ones lol ( she wasn t all that helpful really either ).

The cheapest were £1. 50  which they didn t have of course and the next cheapest were £1.99:eek: again lol. Now bearing in mind my father died when I was 8 so no need to buy one for myself .Though I could give the card to one of my kids and have the toffees myself. In the end I thought blow it. I don't like toffees that much :)

We don't do cards in my house. They are the biggest waste of money ever! Can't remember how it started now? But everyone here gets a pound coin instead of a card.....it's become a bit of a tradition. :D

I know what you mean. I try to keep the playing to a minimum and just do it whilst I'm waiting for my little boy to fall asleep.
There's plenty of other stuff I can be getting on with.
