Good afternoon, all.

I've just finished repotting all the strawberries up for the summer sale when we're raising money for the Dads group I run. We've also got the stocks again this year so no doubt I'll be pleted again! We do encourage the kids to put their own dads in the stocks as they get sweets if they do it (Dad gets a Dads group mug and pencil!).

This was after a massive clean up now OH has jetted off to America for the SADA shareholders meeting and kids are all at their dads. DS1's bedroom looked relatively tidy - and then I lifted his mattress!

Suffice to say it's spotless now as is OH and my room, DD2's room, DD3's room and the bathroom / hallway. I now just have to go up into the loft to do DS3's -

I still haven't got on my Skylanders yet! :rotfl:

Tiny - What dotty said. Give Mr Grumpy a hug when he gets in. Maybe cook him a nice juicy steak. We all deal with things in such different ways. Glad DD1 is settling in well.

I took it on the chin I did say back to the manager "there's hundreds of other stores" :p (I also pop into the store, late at night anyway (24hours open):p

Afternoon all

Popped to T's earlier, an extra one and the hoops and crosses were £1 and went through the till at £1.00. I got 6 as I had 5 x 50p coupons and 1 x £1 so I am happy!

Also went to A's. I checked on msm earlier and the multibuys were on the frijj milkshakes except the banana. So got 3 banana and 1 strawberry and by the time I got home the multibuy was on all of them and they compared correctly. But I can confirm cravendale is still glitching.

Hardest day yet since mum passed away, dismantling the bedrooms for DD1 broke my heart, especially when OH started on my old room before I got there. I thought he had gone to get the van first. Even though I moved out 30 years ago and decor/furniture had been changed many times since, I just wanted to see it as it was one more time. Caused a very big row on what was meant to be a special day for DD1.

Anyway flat in Dorking is just right to set up her nest. And the Gr[STRIKE]a[/STRIKE]umps to be built her new flat pack bookshelf and she was happy to fill it before we left and bedroom furniture in situ. Got home 1am this morning after dropping van back to hirers. :eek:

Aww, shame that there was a row when cleaning out your mum's rooms, I think it must be heightened emotions make it ripe for arguing. 2 of my SILs almost came to blows when helping clearing out my mums, I had to threaten to throw them both out.

I am sure DD understands. xxx
