I saw a Gammon at wrong price yesterday and cause our CS is manned by a group of trouts I hid a joint for today.
Well I went and got the joint this morning and did not go to Customer Services straightaway as the CS desk was manned by some of the usual trouts. Later on I went to the larger store nearby and got another joint for £15.78 and got DTD of £15.80 no problem. Lady could not have been nicer. So back to my local to find the worst trout on duty. Checked shelf and £4.99 labels still in place and 2 more £9.99 per lb joints at front of shelf. Went to CS and off she trotted and came back and fed me the line that the Smoked joints are not on offer. I said there are 2 labels and she said no there is one. I said ok then took my wrapping and receipt and left. ( I cooked the joint this morning in Pepsi Max and then roasted it with honey and mustard glaze for my Mum's visitors. i had a sandwich of it warm and it was lovely!!). Rang cs when i got home and they are sending me a £10.00 gift card and spun me the whole wrong item in wrong place routine. I did not pursue it further as it is my local store and I am fed up with complaining about them!!
Is it illegal to advertise something as one price and to sell it for another.
I also saw a trolley full of 1p Throntons chocs in the 2nd store. However it was by cs as they had obviously pulled them.

:D Do I get a prize for the smallest quote coming from a Savvy post??:j (Note his use of the full stop to get to 10 characters, very smooth Savvy ;))

Unfortunately not - I've now (finally!:rotfl::cool:) finished that playing around with the womble receipt list and posted a longer reply in place!!

I hadn't noticed I'd used exactly 10 characters! Originally tried to post without any message and told reply was too short, so just posted a couple of words!

As people have already said different tv types have different qualities, I spent ages deciding what to go for, went to various shops, viewed various tvs, asked lots of sales assistants what they thought was best and eventually went for a 46" Samsung LED 3D Smart TV. It is the Active type of 3D and I can honestly say I'm very happy with it.
I have since heard people say Samsung is the best for LED TVs and it certainly has a better picture than my Sony Bravia although the Sony is about ten years old now and is still going strong and has a very good picture.

This looks good, I believe LG are also supposed to have a good screen/picture. Google the tv make and model and try to find some reviews on the one you are thinking about to see what others say.

I think Argos have some deals on LED TVs just now too so might also be worth a look.

Good luck, it's a minefield out there!

Remember 1litre Russian Standard is still comparing to S at £15 so £13.50 after APG, it doesn't come much better than that.

I think some of these Vodkas are cheaper in M's - but too dear for me so no price info.!! Sorry!:) [Edit: might be on M's website, as seems pretty heavily promoted in-store.]
davemorton- I am going to reply to your original post.

I have a voucher to use at Sainsburgs, so need to buy there, but if it is that price in store, I may just have to get a bottle of that instead.

Can any of you folk help me?

Im looking for a micro sd for my samung tab2 and my nook? Now I don't have the foggiest how these things work but I bought a

sandisk mobile ultra micro sdhc memory card 8gb - Is this the right thing? Im freakin out I ordered the wrong thing now? TIA

It will be fine. Also for a tablet, unless you're loading it with pics, music and books 8GB should be OK.

For my Galaxy S3 I do use it a lot and have a 54GB Dropbox but I ordered a specific card for the lifetime and for its reliability and speed. If you are unsure, just simply google recommended micro SD for Tab 2.

THIS is on offer at MyMemory - it's class 10 so very fast and will be mnre than you need. It's 64GB. If you only need 32GB, then THIS is a good price also. I really rate this card and the company.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

If I buy a couple bottles of spirits (that are 2 for £24 in tescos,) in Sainsburys, will they/do they usually compare? Many thanks.

If they are not Sains own brand ones.
As long as they are on t.com on the day you buy.

They're usually pretty good at picking things up on the BM. If they don't, then ring their Careline and no problem they put the amount on your Nectar card or send you a gift card. Take a screenshot of t.com especially if T's offer is to end tomorrow. You'll check the S BM result on their site at 9am the day after your shop (possible something may change between your shop and the day after) - normally they will check t.com while you're on the phone - I don't usually have any problems although I gather, more recently, they might send you back to the store you purchased from (just next time you would have gone anyway) and they can check t.com instore. Can just say not going back to Sains. soon - all I can say is the people I've spoken to on the Careline whenever I've had N/A coming back haven't been any problem for me.

[Edit: which product is this? Let us in on the secret!!:D]
