I'm off to A's after work anyway, I may try some of the wipes and see if they work, the best I can see comparing is

Garnier Simply Essential Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes 25 3.00 – 1.55 AvS
Olay Gentle Cleansing Sensitive Wipes 20 3.00 – 1.24 AvT

So if I try 2 olay plus 1 of the other list I should get some back even if they do compare

davemorton - I am going to do your vinegar thing with the weeds tonight. I am going to boil the vinegar outside because of the smell:eek::eek: I am then going to put it into a watering can with sprinkler.

I wonder if I could add a bit of water to it to make it go further. I have four bottles of the gear from Asda at 48p each. I have quite a large area;)

We have done two test areas on the block paving. Weeds went brown in a few days. :j

I have found it best to boil the vinegar and dissolve as much salt in as poss. It is then decanted to a washing up bottle and squirted down the cracks in the paving.

I have tried to find out if there is a chemical reaction, but it seems to be a solution of salt dissolved in vinegar. The salt is a dessicant and the vinegar disrupts the cells. Adding water will just dissolve more salt, but dilute the vinegar!

Good idea to heat it outside though!:rotfl:

    Hi everyone

Busy day yesterday then had lovely curry and catch up with friends last night :) Have finally caught up with the thread again and have gone for the M&S groupon deal. Thanks DM for highlighting it over here :)

I'm exhausted now after a manic morning trying to get the house into a state I can feel comfortable with :D
Mum was going to head over this afternoon but she's been busy all morning as she's been sorting out the sale of my Grandma's house and they ended up exchanging contracts this morning. Bit sad really as was a lovely little bungalow with gorgeous views but she's been forced to sell it to pay for her care now she's gone into a nursing home :( At least she is safer where she is though.

Think I might have forty winks myself whilst the little ones have a nap ;)

Fingers crossed for the garden comp lady, i've added my vote :)

Glad your stitches are out QoC :)

Mark Bridger has been found guilty.

I hope he will tell her family what he did with her body. It must be beyond awful for them :(

I don't think they ever will... according to BBC he's an experienced slaughterman and fragment of juvenile skull bone were found in his wood burner....may he rot in hell.:(

"Fragments of bone consistent with a juvenile human skull were found in ashes in the wood burner, with a number of knives nearby including one that was badly burned.

Bridger was described as being an "experienced slaughterman" at a nearby abattoir."
