I think I am becoming an obsesive train ticket buyer. I have now bought 8 tickets for a journey where there is only 2 of us travelling. I have fast train, slow train, early train and late train, to cover all eventuallitys. I think I am going slightly mad!!

Oh well - never got to finding the previous list about the house or reordering my M list - so it's back to the old way of 'skip a couple of aisles then back on myself' again! Not to worry - when I think it's going to be quicker it takes longer and, when I think it is a longer thing, it doesn't last as long. Wish me luck on tomorrow's collection - and we'll have to see what comes of it.

Goodnight now, till either very very late on Wednesday, or till Thurs. evening... Not had time compleetly to catch up. Wonder why?:rotfl::rotfl:

    Goodnight:D!

Think site is playing up for some. Said I couldn't post again for 5 minutes after my last post.

leaving you tonight with one of my favourite poems (and a bit lighter than my fav WW1 poetry ) ...and an insight into my current mid life crisis of changing hair !

    Warning

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick flowers in other people's gardens
    And learn to spit.

You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat
And eat three pounds of sausages at a go
Or only bread and pickle for a week
And hoard pens and pencils and beermats and things in boxes.

But now we must have clothes that keep us dry
And pay our rent and not swear in the street
And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.

But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.
