I knew there was something I forgot to tell you :D

In the Mail on Sunday there was an article about Champagne Sainsbobs - sainsbobs are having 2 levels of store and certain ones will stock premium brands of whiskey and oh so posh champagne.

Most of the stores on the list are south and London as you would expect, almost none in Wales and Scotland and just a few north.

Chester is on the list as you would expect, city store etc, our next nearest one.

but I was gobsmacked to see my local also on the list - never realised that it was so affluent around here that people could afford £120 bottles of champers - explains the big revamp in the wine section last week.

Needless to say within 2 miles of this store is a town with major unemployment, high teen pregnancy rates, large Eastern European population, very socially deprived

My local was on the list too. Chuffed to think we're posh enough to have a champagne store lol.

Cheapest I had seen these before was £5 in Asda.

    Evening all,

Yesterday, clear blue skies, warm all day, another day with the shorts on  perfect for wombling yet dire and just 18p

Today, gloomy, rain all day, cold, wrapped up in my coat and a truly horrible day, yet much better for wombling £15 :D
Spooky though, 3 wombles all within 5 minutes of each other giving the same APG's of £1.42

Just goes to show the wrong shoppers come out when the sun shines or people can't be bothered to pick them up when wet :D

    £15?! Wow!

I bow down to your wombling skills. Did you add up your total APGs yet? Dying to know the tally :)
