Is their an easy (preferably online method) of finding out your loan balance? - what I have left to pay?

Thanks

SAAS themselves link to the SLC's site for repaying loans, saying you can repay, view your balance and change your personal details: http://www.studentloanrepayment.co.uk/

To log in to that though has proven a little tricky for me...
You need a customer reference number, password and secret answer. You can find your customer reference number on the Payment Schedule Letter (if you have one). This is not the same as the number SAAS call the SLC Reference Number, which appears on the Award Notice.

As for the password and secret answer, I have no idea where you get these from. They do not appear to be the same as those supplied to SAAS, and as far as I can see SLC have no record of my email address. I have tried the reset password option but no joy.

Perhaps you'll have some luck going through the reset password motions, so worth a go. But it looks like we have to phone them. Happily they offer a geographic number 0141 243 3660
I've not even started repaying it yet since I graduate next month, so I think I'll wait a bit and see if they send me a password!
