The winner and a guest will stay for two nights, on a B&B basis, in a Rectory room at Lords of the Manor, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. This honey-stone former rectory, dating from the 17th century, sits on the edge of Upper Slaughter, in the Cotswolds, amid walled gardens and parkland. Its restaurant has held a Michelin star since 2008 and is overseen by head chef Richard Edwards; one dinner for two (excluding wine) is included in the prize. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list, drawn from nearly 500 bins.
The prize must be taken between July 1 and September 30, 2013, subject to availability and excluding public holidays.
