Don't let that face fool you, he's a little sod. We picked him up yesterday and Mum is over the moon with him. So far he's attacked the yard brush with vigour, had a stand off with his own reflection in the oven door and chasedDD all around the yard. He's a real little character. I don't think he'll be as impressed with me tomorrow when I take him to the vets for his first jabs though

He's super cute
I hope your mum gets alot of joy from him.
I was talking to someone last week whose mother in law is recently widowed. She isn't a doggie person so she is now the very proud owner of some chickens, who are all she talks about now & she is very taken with them.

TBH I was so grateful she'd got Leo when Dad died because he gave her something to do. I'm an only child and I can't be there all day every day so just having someone to talk to it a great comfort for her. I can fully understand how chickens can also do that, any animal is someone to care for and talk to and it means a lot.
He's had his jabs this afternoon, never flinched. He's met a few strangers outside the supermarket while Mum nipped in, he was a little unimpressed at the clattering of shopping trollies at first but he relaxed in the end.
Wednesday he's having another outing in the car to a local outdoor retail village where we hope to meet lots of people with grabby hands and especially very small children (preferably loud ones! hehe). Fortunately when you only weigh as much as a bag of sugar you are fine to be carried around while socialising
