My week has gone completely out of the window by about £45!! :( Got to hope I can scrape through the rest of the week with NSD...

A friend of mine had her baby boy a few weeks early, so went to pick up a few bits and bobs as pressies - postage for said items ended up coming to £16 :(

My mum also spotted Grandad's favourite whiskey and wanted to get it as a fathers day pressie, but couldn't afford it, so I ended up paying half of that too! (I don't usually get him present for Fathers Day, but mum wanted to get it so badly I would have felt awful saying now!)

Hasn't been a good budget week at all, but hopefully I can make some curbs in other areas over the next few weeks to cover it!!

NSD for me today. I have joined a couple of other challenges which means I'll be making a payment towards my CC most days, but I'm not counting that towards my budget, so not including it. Still the same as yesterday.... Yay!

    Hello all,

I'm a bit late for this week's challenge but I'm definitely joining in next week (will bookmark thread to remind myself to find next week's challenge) It should help me focus my spending and cut my weekly budget.
  • Hope everyone is having a good week.

I must get back in on this next week. I've been busy moving to lovely new flat, and sorting out insurance and setting up bills etc so it's been a rather spendy one! Still got my broadband to set up too. Being a grown up is hard! Lol

    So far.

    Sun - £17.62 groceries.
    Mon - NSD :j
    Tues - NSD :j

Expected spends today as going for coffee and to introduce Henry to couple of friends. Then going food shopping which will make me red but as I am getting £300 more than expected in my wage this month I will be using some of that. :D

Well today has been spendy... Very spendy.

    Sun - £17.62 groceries.
    Mon - NSD :j
    Tues - NSD :j
Weds - £2.38 into savings. £5.80 coffee and cake with friends. £14.66 groceries. £56.51 groceries and baby clothes. :D

    Total £96.97 / £50  ooops.

Think I'm going to take a couple of the baby bits back as just realised how many clothes the little man has. And I've bought a small size so he'll be grown out of them before I know it.

    Hello

Today I spent £1.70 on diet pepsi, £1.20 on a coke bottle with my friends name on it and £4.95 on SW so my total for this week is £17.90/£50.00.

I think I might change my name by deed pole to Coke so I can find a bottle with my name on it :D:D:D

    Hope everyone is well

It's difficult not to spend lots of money on baby clothes - when I went shopping for my friends little man, I only meant to get something small!!! That didn't happen...everything is just so cute!!

Aiming for NSD for the rest of the week to make up for my awful beginning :( (£70/£20)

I should get petty cash back from work today, so that will all go back into my account which will make it look slightly healthier than it does right now after this crazy week!!!
