Excess overpayment

Back in 2011 my vehicle was written off by a third party.I was insured for un-insured losses so the solicitor sent me a cheque for my excess for £400.Several months later I received a letter from my insurer stating that as there is an on-going dispute with the third parties insurers they have enclosed a cheque for £400.I assumed that it was a payment for any out of pocket expenses I had incurred.I have now had a call from my then insurers asking me to re-pay £400.Do I have to re-pay this?

If they've over paid you then of course you need to repay it.0

Help from the state £0.000 -
what out of pocket expenses mounted to £400...Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
