Been looking at my buildings and contents insurance (wrt comparison sites) and it looks quite high. The current policy runs Feb to Feb but we pay monthly for it. Can I jump ship now, or do I have to wait til next Feb?

You can move companies whenever you want
but consider a few factors....
There will most likely be a cancellation of upto £50. However if you have claimed, the insurer will ask you to pay the remainder of your policy.Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0 -
As long as you have not made a claim since you took the policy out in Feb then you can usually cancel.
Check the cancellation fees on the current policy to make sure it is worth while. (some companies will reimburse you a certain amount anyway when you take out a new policy with them)
If you decide to switch make sure you tell your old insurer to cancel the insurance - don't just cancel the DD.0
