Do they do faster payments? When I transfer money from another account to my metro account, it takes longer than usual to appear. I am waiting for a bank transfer since midday yesterday, should it take this long, is it because it's a Friday?

Well if you sent it Friday it could take until the end of Monday
I've had a savings account at Metro Bank but not a current one so don't know if it's usually slow. I will be getting one soon as I want to take advantage of their no fee debit card when abroad0 -
End of Tuesday, actually, since Monday is not a working day. Only legal obligation they have is to get the money to its destination by the end of the next working day.0
