deleting photobucket link

Hi

How do I remove a photobucket link? I can't actually remove it as someone else has quoted my post with the link in it. So I went to photobucket and deleted the pic, then back to the forum to check if this had worked. No the link still opens my deleted photo. Any ideas?

If you have deleted the pic then new people won't see it. The reason you can see it is due to a thing called caching.

When you visit a website your PC makes a copy of the picture. Next time you visit the site your PC checks if it has a copy and loads that (as it's faster). This means you are not seeing the picture, but the copy on your PC.

As has been said above, clear your cache and you won't see it.
