Sun and Sand in April

Hi, I am looking for a holidays for 2 adults and 2 kids (14 and 11) for April next year.
Want sun and sand, any ideas for a destination? don't really want to go to tenerife (or any of the canaries) but want nice hot weather.

been to both, both very very different, would go to Egypt over Gambia any day, it has far more to offer, you could go to Luxor which is inland on the Nile with lots of sites to see or you could go to the red sea resorts, if you go to Hurgarda you can get to Luxor and Cairo (even though they are a long way away) for trips, if you go to places like Sharm or Taba these are the other side of the Red Sea so trips to the sites are a lot futher and they are , Hurgarda, Sharm and Taba are all beach resorts

It's good value for money, you shoule bea able to get a 4 to 5 star all inclusive in one of the beach resorts for less than £2000 for 2 weeks or you cna do it a lot less if you go B&B, it's so cheap out there

The new first choice holiday village in sharm looks really nice. There seems to be a lot of things for teenagers to do as well.
Its right on the beach. It has water slides rock climbing walls and loads more.
Check out there web site, also have a look at the eclipse direct web site, same company but sometimes cheaper.
  • Thanks, I think egypt is the favourite. I really fancy seeing the pyramids.
