Advice needed re: new build

I bought from TW last year. We tried part ex but the valuation came back very low. We went with their easy move scheme instead. This involved reducing our property price slightly and TW chose two agents to market it through. TW paid all estate agent fees plus 5% deposit, full packing and removal service, some legal fees, stamp duty (was offered this or carpets).
This was a really good deal for us and we sold the previous property within 4 weeks (having had it on the market for several months before this).
Work out the house numbers and road names and look up the prices on zoopla to see how much the other houses sold for. It seems to me that these prices either don't include a 5% discount or deposit paid or they do if the buyers used firstbuy or similar. I don't think these schemes allow 5% deposit paid from the builder so the sales price already has the discount taken off.0 -
I should also have said that we bought off plan because we wanted a particular plot. However we would have got an even better deal if we had been willing to take one that was already finished. The ones on my site that were already finished did have full carpets, turf and tiles. So no choice in what I would have had but these finished ones did have a discount.0

Just a quick note to say that the sales lady (not part exchange manager) has called this morning to ask if we have any more thought about the offer as there are other potential buyers waiting to part exchange.
We have told them why we refused and stated that if they were able to assist with stamp duty, wardrobes or similar we may be in a better position.
It's a shame it seems to have fallen into a negotiation with them probably feeling like we are bartering for as much as we can get, when we only really want to make the deal affordable and not over extend our finances.
