Evening from Thailand.
So far today
Taught 2 English classes total 4 hours received 1400 baht {About 30 ukp}
Collected a 10000 baht final payment from a motorcycle I sold to another teacher. He needed one for work but couldn't afford the whole amount at once so I sourced one for him paid for it and said he could pay me back over 6 months (with a little bit extra for my troubles/assistance). He has actually managed to pay me back within 6 weeks. Profit = 3000 baht.
Collected a 800 baht loan repayment.
Booked a hotel in Bangkok for tomorrow night as I thought I could do with a break and I won't have another two consecutive days off after this week for the forseeable future. Plus it's great having one of the worlds most exciting cities a mere two hour coach ride away.0 -

Fine thanks, I was mountaineering yesterday (put some nice photos taken on a rare hot Scottish day on my Facebook page for those of you who are my Friends on there). Hence I'm resting today.
Will post again tomorrow.

Hi everyone,
Apart from meeting friend for lunch yesterday, BH weekend is being used to catch up in garden (me) & crack on with painting landing/stairwell/hall (Mr f). Going out for lunch not very MS, but at least I had the smallest size of coffee & shared a cake.
*Got fabric bargain from local homefurnishing shop. He has lots of end of rolls which are all knocked out at £6 per metre. I found a fabric for making a door curtain, covering a matching chair seat & blind....4 m @£24, but he said I could have the whole roll for £25 so I have got enough to do an extra couple of cushions & a few other projects too. Bargainmongous! (especially as the orginal price of the fabric was £35 a metre!!!! Nearly needed a cardiac massage at the thought of anyone paying that much!)
*Tended our veg garden...that's our future food/freezer supplies. Some naughty nibblage of beetroot by sparrows. Must sort out more bird scarers tomorrow.
*Planted up 2 hanging baskets & 3 summer tubs using all stuff I already had & bedding plants grown from free seed.
*Went round flower borders shoving a plant in anywhere there was a gap.... so hopefully will not be tempted astray by garden centres.
*Loaded washer to make use of Economy 7 tariff overnight.
*Read energy meters for my records.
Tomorrow will be more of the same - gardening & decorating - plus a bit of cooking, as am doing pullled pork in the slow cooker. Think that's it for me. Oh, by the way, Perni, sounds like you gave that rubber chicken some welly this week. Whooo-hooo!
