ESTA validity date nearly up

Hello
This may be a silly question but I thought I'd check
I'm travelling to the US from June 1st to 8th. I got an ESTA in 2011 and it expires on June 14th. I keep getting emails from ESTA telling me to renew - will I be okay as I'm leaving the US on June 8th or do they require a longer validity period for a current ESTA?
Thanks for your help

My travel authorization is valid for travel to the United States but will expire before I depart. Do I need to apply for a new one before my trip?
No. ESTA travel authorization needs only to be valid upon arrival in the United States.Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0
