Euro Car Parks Hamilton Palace Grounds Hamilton

Hi there
quick question again relating to ECP. I parked in the vue car park in Hamilton today, however instead of parking in
a marked bay I parked on the pavement as there was a rather big queue of cars waiting to move round the car park and also because I had just put my back into spasm and was desperate to get pain medication. I was literally 5 minutes.
On returning to the car I noticed the fine, and when I returned home contacted the company who advise to appeal online.
I did this, however I just realised I have now given them my address. I have also realised on the ticket there is no from time but a to time.
Im looking for Some advice please as to where I stand. I have read some of the threads and the advice is just to ignore it, would that still apply to myself.

thanks

It's Scotland so ignore them completely from now on, they will turn down your appeal as they have no reason to allow it. But this company never ever ever does court especially in Scotland, and you will get about 4-6 letters claiming lots of outlandish things but they are all lies, from a variety of companies.
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

They'd have got your address anyway from the DVLA so you just saved them the money to buy your data. But in Scotland there's no appeal so ignore all the usual threatograms from Roxburghe/Graham White or other debt collector trash.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
