What do you think, traffic-wise tomorrow to Weymouth from Woking?

A3 used to be horrible, but now there's that nice tunnel, I'm not sure.

Satnav says M3 is 15/20 minutes quicker.

I often use the M3 in rush hour from the A303 to the M25 and its not very often I get any hold ups.

Yeah well an Audi A3 v BMW M3 isn't going to be much of a challenge is it? And I won't even mention the haters!

But seriously on a bank holiday weekend both will take about 7.5 hours

If problems on A3 or M3 you could go down the A31 and join M3 at Winchester.

    Nice picturesque route

I'm surprised you haven't found First Class rail travel for £2.40 :)
    Can I help?

the m3 was horrific. Quiet coming back this evening though.

    Might try A3 + A31 next time.

    It's about the same distance

Plenty of nice scenery, the service stations are not motorway prices.

You go past Jane Austin's house if that floats your boat.

Set your Sat Nav for Alton and it will take you that route
