New tyres - any which members out there?

Good evening, I need to get two new tyres for my car and understand that which recently did a review of tyres for an average small car. I was wondering if there are any which members out there who would be able to have a look on their site and see what they recommend. I have tried to sign up for a trial but it says I need to ring them and they are closed now. My budget is around £75 a tyre.
Thank you in anticipation

National Tyres are doing a "buy one get one free". You still have to pay for valves and balance. There was a voucher in The Sun a couple of days ago and I think it is running all year.
They are also doing half price MOT's. This offer expires on 31 Dec 2013 according to the small print.0 -

I think it's reasonable to assume that this will be a 'marketing expression', rather than a totally free tyre. And that my son, is how to waft a towel!0 -
What size are you needing?
I have used event tyres (mobile fitting) and couldn't fault their service.
I like to use Toyo T1R they dont last the longest but the grip (wet&dry) noise and value are superb.Bedroom Tax / Spare room subsidy / Housing Benefit Reduction - It's the same thing, get over it.0 -
I can't help with the Which report, but there are lots of useful tyre test results summarised at www.tyrereviews.co.uk . I recently bought some Dunlop Sport BluResponse tyres because of their good test results:

As for where to buy from I'd check out http://www.blackcircles.com/ , particularly with their current MOT for £5 offer.
Do you know about the new European tyre label? If not then the following may be helpful, as it actually puts some numbers to the fuel efficiency categories:

Hmmm... the tyre label info. for those tyres isn't great:

A LONG way from the best for wet braking, fuel economy and noise...0 -
I buy my tyres from camskill.co.uk cheapest I've found anywhere and do next day delivery.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0

Logon to Topcashback.
Select "Tyre Savings". £10.10 cash back and select your local Halfords Autocentre.
If you find the cheapest option then do it again for each tyre
That's your benchmark. Now select the tyre you want and ring around your local dealers.0 -
That reminds me, Topcashback give 2.5% cashback for blackcircles.com.
Also, when buying from a website providing fully fitted prices, note that fitting centres often charge extra for swapping wheels over. So if you do want to do that then phone the places you're considering getting the tyres fitted at to check what each charges before booking. When I last did this one place wanted £5 and another £12 for swapping over my front and rear tyres.0 -
Thanks for all your helpful advice everyone will try and find a good price once I have an idea of which brand of tyre I should be looking for. Ms Chocoholic have PM'd you but my tyre size is 175 60 R150
