Hi guys,
Wondering if any of you could give me some feedback on Sage One? Or any other online accounting services? I'm looking at getting one but want to see what people have to say before I commit to anything?
Cheers!

In our accountancy practice, we recommend Kashflow and Freeagent and have probably at least half our clients using one or the other. General client feedback is excellent for both.
We've also trialled Quickbooks online and Sage One with a few clients, but clients found them harder to use, and "like for like" cost versus features were poorer, i.e. Kashflow and Freeagent were better value for money.
There's also Xero, Clearbooks and Accounts Portal, which all get good reports, but we've not trialled those yet as we're happy with Kashflow and Freeagent at the moment.0 -
I set all my small clients up with FreeAgent, but there are several others out there such as Xero and Accounts Portal etc. They all work on the cloud, but you will have to compare them yourself as some have better/more features than each other. What you are looking at is one that can do Estimates, quotes that you can turn into Invoices. It allows you to send invoices via email with payment buttons that allows you to accept payments through it.
Make sure what you chose integrates your Accountants software so they can see what you are doing.
These clients have less functions than Sage, but to be honest Sage Line 50 is the premier software and is used by nearly all the more established or bigger firm. Sage will set you back from anything from £8.5K to £14K +VAT.for the starting model of Line 50.
I hope that helps?0 -
You may want to have a look at Liquid Accounts. They are reasonably priced, online and offer quite a comprehensive package for the money.0

There are plenty of online accounting companies that charge a monthly fee. Intouch Accounting are worth looking at.0
