I have a recently bought Toshiba laptop. One of the desktop icons is Recovery Media Creator. What is this and do I have to do anything with it? I am a bit afraid to open it in case it resets my laptop!
Is it something I need to copy to disc in case of something going wrong?
Please help :embarasse

It allows you to create Recovery DVDs that you will need in the case of you ever having to replace your hard drive. Do it.
Have a couple of blank DVDs ready for when you run the program. Will do no harm at all to your current settings.0 -
Need to try a little harder! see here
Actually I did that and found this a bit too technical and daunting.
