External Storage via Ethernet

Can you get external hard drives that I could connect via ethernet to my netgear router for backups, and so I can access files on my wireless laptop without having to switch my upstairs PC on all the time to access my music & video files. A type of storage area network I guess.
Can anyone recommend a cheap external HDD with ethernet port which might do this. Want about 200GB.
