Work unpaid for companies who donate to charities
Options
Does anyone know of a website or organisation that holds details of people willing to work (unpaid) for companies who donate the 'wages' to charities?
I'm a retired database/software developer and have written software for businesses of all sizes for use on PCs, laptops etc.
My idea is to offer my services to businesses who then donate my 'wages' to a charity.
I don't need to visit businesses if they aren't local, I can work remotely via email and phone.
I would not want any money to pass through my hands - the company would donate directly to the charity and claim whatever tax benefits are available.
Thanks

Why don't you just take the cash and then donate it?0 -
Why don't you just take the cash and then donate it?
Tax implications, deprivation of assets, reduction in benefits from working... any number of reasons, some legitimate, some slightly more shady.Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”
Said Diogenes, “Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.”0 -
Derivative said it all really-
1. Companies can offset their donations against tax
2. Taxman won't want any tax from me
3. My integrity - Businesses would know 100% of my fee is going to charity0
