Wow! That sounds horrendous!
What have the Banking Ombudsman said about it ??0 -
they have been waiting for emails to confirm that the money has been sent and all the onbudsman says it that it has been sent but we still have no money!!!!!0
-
Has anyone got any advice for us because we have seemed to hit a brick wall please0
-
Your complaint may be dragging because it involves sums of more than £100,000.
It might be time to take RBS to court yourself but get in touch with the ombudsman again before you do this as they might refuse to deal with your complaint again if it does go to court.0 -
we were thinking the same but the problem is we have no money to do this RBS have all of our money its been a nightmare as we have a 18 month on toddler and also used up all of our savings, a total of over £15,000 aswel do you have any suggestions on who else we could contact??
thanks for your advice so far and replying0 -

We need MARTIN LEWIS!!!!!!!
Indeed you do!
I can't really help you anymore other than try and raise the profile of your case a bit more. By that, I mean contact your MP, BBC Watchdog, The National Newspapers. It's amazing how bad publicity can make some firms buckle!
Good luck! Please let us know how you get on.0 -
thanks for all your help we will keep you posted0

How do you know it is RBS that is at fault?
What information have you been supplied to date to indicate what the issue is?
What exactly are the FOS saying that has led to "no joy"?
If you want help or to raise the profile then you need to give specifics. We dont know if RBS is at fault, the paying bank or any of the banks that it was routed through before it gets to RBS. We also dont know what method of transfer you used.
You obviously raised a complaint with RBS as you do not get access to the FOS until you go through the complaints process first. So, what did RBS say in their response to your complaint?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
