Refund on a Purchase

About 4 weeks back I mail ordered a few items of clothing. Once delivered and realised they were not quite what I was after I returned them as per their instructions on their website.
I sent them recorded delivery and they received them two weeks ago today.
I have chased them up everyday with promises of a call back and also emails.
Still no joy and I am now unsure of what to do.
Its for £120 so a fair bit.

Clinton Enterprises.
They sell motorcycle team merchandise and clothing at race tracks and online.0 -
Have they said they will refund you? If so it may be just a case of waiting for them. Legally they have 30 days, which you are still well inside.0

Yes, I spoke to a gent on the phone last Thursday and he said the person who does the refunds will be in on Friday and it will show up in you're account on Tuesday/Wednesday. Fair enough I thought but still nothing. I have left another answerphone message and an email today.0

Do you have anything in writing (email is fine) where they confirm they will refund you?0
-
I suspect it may just be a case of waiting for them to process it. Keep giving them a ring every few days and I expect you'll get there eventually.0

On their website there is a pdf return form which you print out and return with the goods.
Change for another size, refund etc.
I think bod was asking if you have anything in writing from them specifically stating they were going to refund you because if you do and you paid by even debit card, you should be able to approach your bank about getting a refund via chargeback. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

Is the correct answer.
I did have an email but I have since changed internet service provider.
The email said "No problem, send them back and well refund you straight away"
I still have access to the emails but I just cant find that particular one.
Looks like ill have to wait until the 30 day period is up, its just the poor customer service that bites my backside.
If I have no luck after the 30 day period could I still go after a charge back from my bank?0
