Samsung tab 2 or tab 3?

Hi everyone!

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but if not, feel free to move it.

Basically I'd like to buy a samsung galaxy tablet 10.1". I've heard rumours that the tab 3 is going to come out but can't find dates for it's release. Therefore I'm wondering if anyone has any further information about this because I don't want to buy the tab 2 and find out the tab 3 is coming out a few days later!

ps. I have already googled this and read about 50 articles but can't get a straight answer! (probably because it's not known yet, I realise)

exactly, I have no idea what's actually happening with it! I guess the answer is just to buy one now and deal with the fact that it might be cheaper in a few months time. It's not the end of the world I guess!

Depends if your desperate to buy 1, if not then wait a while.

You could buy a Tab 2 and sell it and replace it with a Tab 3 once its a decent price.

Thing you need to look at is, will the extra specs on the tab 3 give you more than what is currently on tab 2. Can expect to pay a lot more that is for sure, whilst the tab 2 will drop in price as it it already doing

Wait for the Tab 3 to come out, then go back and get the tab 2 as the price will have been reduced (the differences between the two tabs aren't that wide anyway)

you're all completely right.

My thinking is that if the tab 3 is going to come out soon then once it does I'll buy the tab 2 as it would be reduced. The thing is, I'd like to buy it asap (although I don't need to) so if it's going to be several more months before the tab 3 comes out I might just buy the tab 2 now..
