    Evening all
Fantastic news JackieO, so pleased for you.
My last lunch duty done today, I wore my winter boots, coat, hat & gloves, brrr.
Not a nice day at work, our job descriptions have all been updated, I've been told I have to achieve 100% accuracy every day, I said I need to be able to lock my door to even attempt that as I get hundreds of interruptions a day.
Hey ho, it's only a job.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Good afternoon everyone, and its good news I have been pronounced out of remission and all clear.

My DD was with me and bless her she burst into tears.I saw the registrar and also the consultant and they are very pleased with how everything has gone since 2007 and in fact have offered me a complete reconstruction for the right side and a 'lift and a bit of a reduction on the existing one (bit of a droop as gravity took over with age :):)) I am walking around with a big grin on my face and have had so many texts and emails from folk I can't believe how lucky I am to have so many friends.I am just about to go to my DDs as we are celebrating with a meal out tonight, as its not every day you get given your life back.I should have my new 'boobs' after my holidays about September time The consultant was really nice and said its important to make you feel good about yourself as well as curing you.I am simply walking on air at the moment and although its raining here in north Kent I feel as though I am covered in sunshine
Thank you all who have been with me through the ups and downs of the past 6 years since my op. I can't believe how the time has whizzed by.My youngest grandson Mikey said this morning before school 'You will get a medal Grandma for being brave ' well trust me there were times when I certainly felt as though the Gods were dropping on me from a great height but now all is good and its definitely onwards and upwards .I shall raise a glass tonight to all of those who sadly didn't make the journey with me, and to those who did, along with all the lovely people on this site Thank you all for your love and support
    Love to you all

Jackie, I just read everyday and don't post. I read your lovely stories about your family and have followed your journey to beat this awful disease and I am so thrilled with your news. Enjoy your evening with your family.

    Evening all!
JackieO-fantastic news, MIL got the same news this year too!
We are back from a windy, rainy Menorca, a bit of a rollercoaster break starting with an 8 hour flight delay:eek: and meeting up with some old friends and memories, but enjoyed having someone else to cook and wash up for us!!!Now have the washing mountain to sort out, and the fridge to fill, DD had bought salad and a cooked chicken for an easy dinner tonight, so will shop tomorrow once I have been to town to pick up my engagement ring. Right, off to reload the WM then cath up with what I've missed!!!

    So pleased Jackie O xx

Topsy - very difficult for you with all that male testosterone flying around - I have experienced it with 4 grown men in my household and thoroughly sympathise xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
