Has anyone heard of a company called Vigano?

Hi all
Here's the site:
http://www.vigano.co.uk/
They have a product I'm after at a good price. I found some good reviews about the company here:
http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/vigano.co.uk
But a couple of bad ones here:
http://www.cylex-uk.co.uk/company/vigano-ltd-18595595.html
So should I go for it? And how best to pay so that my money is not lost if the goods fail to turn up (value £49.99)?
Many thanks
Max

Hi again
Well, I called up this morning and spoke to someone. They said the item I want is not in stock but they have it on order and it will be there next Thursday.
Some of the reviews above stated that they could not even reach anyone on the phones. So it's a good start.
Anyhow, with no stock until next Thursday, that gives me a bit of time. So in the meantime, if anyone here has used them and had good or bad experiences, it would be great to hear from you.
Many thanks
Max
PS - hope I have posted in the right place. Please can it be moved if not?0 -
With Thursday approaching, I wondered if I could please bump this to see if anyone has used this company and whether they think it sounds ok?0

Thanks for that Stompa. There the ones I should have linked to above, but for some stupid reason I put the same link in twice in the original post!
I've edited it.....0 -
Don't trust trustpilot reviews.0

Hmmmm, well that just leaves the Cylex reviews then - which are very bad. Although - as I said above - I have called the company and someone did answer and was very helpful.
I don't think it is worth risking though and if no-one can confirm that they have used the company with success, maybe I should leave it and pay extra elsewhere....
I guess I could phone them and ask them why these people have left bad feedback and see how well they defend themselves....

FWIW it looks as if the directors of Vigano used to run a company called Shopeezee Ltd:

and there's a thread about Shopeezee here:

Just another quick update. I called on Friday to check whether they had received them in stock. Could not get through but left a message on answer machine.
Got a call back a little later, which I could not answer so he left a voice mail. The voice mail was very helpful and informative.
Also, I called Fiskars (who make the axe I'm interested in) and they confirmed that Vigano are an authorised dealer of their products....0 -
Did you buy from these guys in the end? They offer the best price on a samsonite bag I'm looking at, so wondered what your experience with them was like?0

When it comes to customer service, don't scrimp - you get what you pay for. Not sure how they manage to offer goods for those prices but they are obviously short-staffed which gives you a clue. I think I saved £20 on the cost of the goods ordered but it took up so much of my time I saved nothing in the end.
I ordered goods from them and got the usual waiting for stock to arrive email after I eventually had to contact them when my order hadn't arrived after a week. With other online retailers you get an email receipt, dispatch notification with tracking numbers, follow up satisfaction survey, etc. With Vigano you get nothing. Oh, and they use City Link couriers who must be the worst, most unreliable couriers in the UK.
Avoid at all costs, give your money to somebody who deserves to be in business. I have certainly learnt my lesson.0
