    I see a lot of elderly people in my job who live in social housing which is far too big for them, but although they have requested to move there are no properties.
    It seems once you get to pensionable age you have to expect very little in the way of assistance for all the years of paying tax etc

    If pensioners are expected to move 'every 6 months' it will be financially impossible to fund this.
    Disabled pensioners will not be physically or financially able to do this.......ooh the joys of getting older in this good old British society.

    Oh by the way, we pay £795 a month where we live for a 1 bed house, I can only dream of paying £495, we also have just agreed to a new 12 month tenancy, I reached retirement age 3 years ago.
