Callcredit/Noddle/Barclays Credit Manager cannot find me - advice needed

Options
Hi all,

I have a question regarding my credit files. After Martin's show I checked my credit files with Equifax and Experian and they had every current account, credit card, loan under the sun listed, so I was happy. But a month earlier I had joined Creditmanager which is a credit profile service by Barclays offered through Callcredit to see if they had everything on me and sadly they could find nothing. They couldn't verify me, even after sending a copy of a utility bill, neither could Noddle or Callcredit directly, so i called them. I advised I found it odd that they couldn't find anything as Experian and Equifax found everything about me.
So they said I was wrong at first and then they said that the admin department would do another check. After they had checked again, they have advised that as they are the smallest credit check company not everything gets shared with them, which seems rubbish because they have literally nothing except my name and current address, that I have been on the electoral role from Dec 2011, although I have been on the electoral role 2 years prior to that date according to equifax and experian. Also seen that I'm going through Barclays I would have expected to see my current accounts, which callcredit said I wouldn't be able to see anyway and my Barclaycard, but to no avail.

So I am now unsure what to do. Do I really have an average credit rating on callcredit because they have so little on me, when I know I should have poor credit, which is captured by Experian and Equifax. And should I be satisfied with the little info they have or should I suspect that they have a split file on me and insist that they find my info.

Thanks for your help

Have you asked any lender that report to Experian and Equifax whether they also report data to Callcredit, and so should appear there also? Armed with that you might have a better chance.

Have you also given all previous addresses? They ask for 6 years worth, but I found that I had to give some from a bit longer back. Until I did, I had most things missing from Callcredit.

Beyomd that, all you can really do is make sure that the input data (previous addresses etc) given to Callcredit is accurate and matches what your creditors have, and so would report against.

To be honesty wouldn't worry yourself about it - Experian and Equifax are sufficient for most purposes.

    Best wishes
