Hi, my partner has been claiming IB esa for both of us. I have recently been offered a job, it's only 12 hours a week with a wage of £74. Can he change to CB esa so I'm not working for nothing?

In some circumstances.
If what you mean is that the claim is in his name - he has been claiming contributory ESA, with the income-based couples top-up - then yes - he will continue to be paid his contributory ESA - though the couples income-based amount will go away.
If he is in the support group, then his C-ESA would continue being paid - if he's in the work-related group - only for one year.
If you are both on pure income-based ESA - then no - as he will have been assessed at the beginning of the claim period to see if he was entitled to C-ESA.0
