Need to get away from Hargreaves: Any recommendations?

Hi,
I currently have my SIPP and S&S ISA with HL. I want to buy shares of companies not listed on the LSE but XETRA in Frankfurt.
The problem I have with Hargreaves is that the cost of trading these stocks is prohibitively expensive with HL. Just to give you an example: I recently bought 1,000 shares of a company on XETRA. The price at the time in Frankfurt was 13,38 and I sold the shares 2 weeks later @ € 14,90. This gain of around € 1.500 translated into a profit of only GBP 722 at HL. When questioned, HL said that they think their fee structures and fx rates are highly competitive compared to their competitors. Well, are they really? To lose 50% of the profit in Euro at least isn´t appealing to me. :-)
So my question to you pros here: Are there cheaper options for trading on XETRA (or other European bourses) in my S&S ISA. Who are the companies you would recommend me looking into? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Saxobank offer ISA and SIPP accounts. They seem quite competitive on international trading commissions, and FX fees seem better compared to the likes of HL. Unless I'm missing it, one thing I don't see is any access to a fund platform, so if you want to use them, bear that in mind.0

Thanks to both of you! I will certainly have a look at the info you provided. Hopefully, I can find a platform that doesn´t rip you off like Hargreaves Lansdown does.0
