Barclays PPI Claim - Offered!

I received a letter from Barclays regarding the mis-selling of PPI. I filled in the details from what I could remeber which was very very vague as it was many years ago and I could not remember the details. I cannot remember ever taking out PPI knowingly and so was surprised that they had contacted me, anyway I filled in what I could and allot of the time put that I could not remeber the details. At the time I actually worked for Barclays (in branch) and so was fully aware of PPI and it was something that I never felt I needed. It was actually a platinum credit card that I got as I was staff. Anyway I have since got a letter to say that they have accepted my claim and have offered me £74.94 in compensation. I was surpised to receive the letter which confirmed I had being paying for PPI (which I never knew) but then I was even more surprised that it was only for that amount seeing as I have had the card since 2005 and it is still active today. Over the years there has probably been around 25-30 thousand pound having beeen spent and paid off on that card.....
I would welcome what others thought as if I have been paying for PPI would the entitlement not be for more seeing as the card had been and still is actively used?

PPI will be shown on all your statements as a separate payment each month, look at your statements and if you have paid more PPI than they are actually offering, send copies of all statements that you have and ask them to look at this again.

Yes old statements are expensive and will probably cost as much as they are offering!
Remember that if you account was always paid off, it doesn't matter how much you actually spent because you wouldn't have paid any PPI.

I wish it was always paid off!! lol! There has pretty much always been some sort of balance left on the account at least between 5 and 7 thousand each month... hhhmmm I am not sure what to do for the best. Do I accept the claim and call it a day or investigate further?

Did the Bank actually only offer a "goodwill" payment with no admission of liability?
If they did, it will have been with no investigation of your complaint. A SAR letter might help, especially as you still bank with them, and it's cheaper than ordering statements.
