I was tempted to post, but didn't realise how far the ale stretched. Really glad to see people enjoying our sale but concerned to read of some experiences of poor service when using our Reserve Online/Collect in Store service.
I completely understand that there are few things more annoying than making the journey to a store to collect an order only to be told after making that journey, that it's not there.
We take our comitment to customer service very seriously and I'd be really keen to hear the details in those cases where we didnt come up to scratch.

I'm sure the in-store experience is fine, and the sale is certainly welcome. The experience when ordering online for collection in store is poor. As requested, I have sent you an email with details of my own experience. I hope it helps, and I hope others will do the same.

One of my items was out of stock - quite dissappointed but as I had reserved a few items I still had those to collect.
They did try to call me in all honestly to tell me about the out of stock item. They should really have called you!0 -
I've been let down by Dunelm. Email to say my delivery won't be when they first said, plus they are cancelling one of my items. Clearly they need a better stock control system I won't be ordering from them again.0

A few days ago I had a call from someone at the store to say they had a duvet cover I had ordered but no pillowcases. When I asked if they would be getting any, he said he'd check and call me back, I'm still waiting!
I wouldn't order from them again, particularly after reading the plethera of similar stories on here. I at least got a call to let me know, if I'd driven 7 miles to the store to collect, I'd be absolutely furious.Sex and Drugs and Sausage Rolls.0
