I'm sorry but I live in a world where as a customer I expect to be treated 'fairly'. You might be perfectly happy to let insurance companies abuse their position but I certainly am not!
Thanks at least for confirming this is common practice.
You have got what you paid for though so where is the unfairness in that.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

You think it's fair that people who get 1 month use of their policy pay the same price as those who get 12 months worth of use?I imagine bugs and girls have a dim suspicion that nature played a cruel trick on them, but they lack the intelligence to really comprehend the magnitude of it. -- Calvin & Hobbes :rotfl:0 -

I have already said how this works, it's not my fault that you were thinking it was a month by month policy. I presume this was your first car?Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

Its so unfair.
There, that better?0 -
You insured against the costs of an accident would it be fair if you accidentally wrote off six vehicles and left 10 people in wheelchairs for the rest of their lives that the insurance charged you the full cost of settling the claim? I think not....0

You win some and you lose some and even if you were paying monthly as someone said earlier in the thread you would still owe the rest of the premium. If you only want people to post who agree with you maybe you should have said in the OP...0

Again your comment doesn't address either of the questions I asked.
I'm all for posters offering sound responses based on facts. Whether they support my supposition or not. So far I have had none.

I already said I do not doubt this is how it "works". Why do you have difficulty understanding my original post? Please enlighten me and I am more than happy to re-word it.Torry_Quine wrote: »I have already said how this works, it's not my fault that you were thinking it was a month by month policy. You fail to answer my question.. do you consider it fair that people who get 1 month use of their policy pay the same price as those who get 12 months worth of use?
