Reclaim PPI on Creditcard

My husband has had his PPI years ago from Lloyds Bank MasterCard without noticing it and recently they send a letter of Annual Review (after so many years without it). Upon checking the contents, they put down my husband current employment status as 'Not Known'. I have been telling him to claim PPI because at the time he remembered when taking it, they didnt even ask what kind of work my husband is doing and my husband was told to take it for easier approval of the MasterCard. My husband was self employed then and have no fixed income. He still owe the £4,437.68. Can he put up a reclaim now or the time has lapsed? Need advice please... Thank you

Credit card PPI appears on every monthly statement as a separate line. If he's been paying it "for years" he can hardly complain that he didn't notice it.My husband has had his PPI years ago from Lloyds Bank MasterCard without noticing it
If this money has defaulted or you are in arrears then you already know that the Bank will offset any redress should it be awarded. He still owe the £4,437.68.0
