According to the guidelines, it says you are still entitled to SMP if:
* you have worked for the same employer for at least 26 weeks by the end of the qualifying week (the 15th week before the week your baby is due) and
* be employed in all or part of your qualifying week
I will be made redundant when I'm 23 weeks pregnant, so 2 weeks short but my notice period would take me up to the end of September, but I won't be working this. Am I still entitled? If not, is there any other type of payment I can expect to receive?

if not working notice check the rules for statutory notice and maternty it effects redundancy if it goes over a year.
I gues MA kicks in.0 -
If you are being paid your notice in lieu, then you won't be employed in your qualifying week so I'd say no you are not entiteld to SMP and must claim MA0

Is the reason that you won't be working your notice period because your employer has decided to pay you in lieu of notice instead?
If so, is there a clause in your contract allowing your employer to pay you in lieu of notice?
If the clause is there; your employment ends when you're 23 weeks pregnant and you won't be entitled to SMP.
If there's no PILON clause; your employment ends at the end of your notice period and you will be entitled to SMP.0
